We are a female-owned greenery business, based in Johannesburg and servicing all of Gauteng, and outlying areas.

Greenery Guru is headed up by Natalie Cloete, who has always had a passion for horticulture and plant styling.

Natalie cultivates meaningful partnerships with the business owners, shopfitters, architects, and interior designers that she works with in both retail and commercial spaces – providing them with the most natural looking installations when it comes to artificial plant styling and best supply and advice with living plants.

The Story Of How We Began

Before she left corporate life to pursue her passion for plants, Natalie, owner of Greenery Guru, was national sales manager and group account manager for a successful beverage company, supplying products and creating beverage menus for restaurants. She loved working with restaurants — but something was missing: Natalie didn’t feel like she was fulfilling her purpose. She needed to find a way to combine her passion for people with her obsession with plants.

In general conversations with restaurant groups and store owners Natalie picked up most complaining they didn’t have the time to keep up with their plant needs. That’s when she decided to start a business that would bring plant décor into any space: restaurants, hotels, malls, reception areas etc that’s manageable and with the correct advice tips. Greenery Guru took off!

Now, still working with her favourite clients in the restaurant industry, helping people’s plant décor dreams come true, Natalie has fulfilled her own dream and passion – earning a living, doing what she loves!
